Mediatonic has announced that Ryu, Cammy, and Akuma costumes from Street Fighter will be available to purchase starting tomorrow. Emotes for the Hadoken, Shoryuken, and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku will join these three costumes. The emotes and costumes will be sold separately or as a package to players.

It’s possible that Capcom will use this to promote their upcoming game. The next instalment in the series has the potential to be the best in the franchise’s history. Both the single-player campaign and the multiplayer component, as well as the controls themselves, are undergoing major overhauls. Capcom’s goal is to create a game that anyone can enjoy without feeling pressured to “perfect everything,” but which yet lets players express themselves and choose from a variety of play styles. Characters like Ultraman and SpongeBob SquarePants join Street Fighter in the third season of Fall Guys. In addition, a sunken city provides a brand new playground for players.
